Job Description
- Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely reporting.
- Manage general ledger operations, including reconciliations and adjustments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
- Support external audits by preparing required documentation and addressing queries.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Senior Controllership Accountant Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Experience in handling tax compliance and audits.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
