Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Cost Estimation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing reliable project cost estimates and supporting project teams with cost planning and analysis.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for Conceptual, Pre-FEED, and FEED projects.
- Review contractor cost estimates and consolidate them into overall project cost estimates.
- Analyse project scope, engineering deliverables, and technical information to prepare cost forecasts.
- Identify cost-related risks and recommend mitigation strategies to improve cost certainty.
- Prepare and present cost reports, estimates, and commercial analyses to project teams, management, Joint Venture Partners (JVPs).
- Monitor market trends, industry benchmarks, and cost databases to ensure competitive and realistic project estimates.
- Support project planning and decision-making by providing cost engineering expertise throughout project development.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and key stakeholders to ensure project cost objectives are achieved.

Requirements
Mandatory
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Upstream Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven experience preparing cost estimates for Conceptual, Pre-FEED, and FEED projects.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Preferred
- Experience working on major upstream oil & gas development projects.
- Familiarity with Joint Venture (JV) project environments.
- Knowledge of project execution standards is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
