As a Senior Coupa Consultant, you will lead the delivery and management of Coupa AMS (Application Management Services) and enhancement engagements for key clients.
You will be responsible for overseeing a team of 3–5 consultants, ensuring high-quality service delivery, continuous improvement, and alignment with business objectives. This is a client-facing leadership role requiring strong functional expertise, stakeholder management, and delivery ownership
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end AMS engagements for Coupa platforms, ensuring SLA/KPI adherence.
- Oversee and prioritize enhancement requests, releases, and change management activities.
- Ensure quality in solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Drive continuous platform optimization and process improvements.
- Manage and mentor a team of 3–5 Coupa consultants.
- Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
- Foster knowledge sharing and capability development within the team.
- Oversee L2/L3 support operations, including incident triage and escalation.
- Ensure timely resolution of critical issues and effective root cause analysis.
- Monitor service performance and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients on AMS engagements.
- Lead governance calls, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and propose solutions.
- Build strong relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
- Oversee integrations between Coupa and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).Ensure data integrity, compliance, and alignment across systems.
- Validate solution architecture and ensure scalability and best practices.
- Define and implement standard processes, documentation, and governance models.
- Stay updated on Coupa releases and recommend adoption of new features.
- Drive automation and efficiency in AMS operations.
Profiles
- 10–15 years of overall IT/consulting experience, with strong exposure to Coupa solutions.
- Proven experience in leading AMS/support engagements and enhancement programs.
- Experience managing small to mid-sized teams (3–5 members).
- Strong background in procurement, finance, or spend management processes.
- Deep functional knowledge of: Coupa Procurement (P2P); Invoicing & Expense Management; Supplier Management / Sourcing
- Strong experience in configuration, workflows, and Coupa platform administration.
- Experience with ERP integrations (SAP/Oracle) and data management.
- Knowledge of APIs, middleware, or integration tools is an advantage.
- Coupa certification(s).
- Experience in global rollouts or multi-country environments.
- Exposure to Agile / ITIL-based service management practices.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work in a client-facing, fast-paced consulting environment.
