We're supporting a global financial services organisation operating at the heart of international banking and cross-border payments. They're looking for a Senior Credit & Collections Specialist to manage a portfolio of international clients in a structured, high-quality finance environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Own and manage assigned client accounts end-to-end (credit, collections, refunds)
- Proactively follow up on overdue balances and resolve payment issues professionally
- Perform credit checks, manage credit extensions, and monitor ageing
- Partner with internal teams to release/hold orders in line with policies
- Prepare reporting, support audits, and drive process improvements
- Work with global stakeholders across regions and time zones
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years in Credit & Collections / Accounts Receivable (finance, banking, or similar)
- Strong communication & negotiation skills — this role talks to clients daily
- Fluent English (spoken & written)
- At least one additional language is a MUST
(French strongly preferred; Spanish / Portuguese are a plus) - Solid understanding of AR, credit risk, and basic accounting / treasury concepts
- Comfortable with SAP
- Detail-oriented, process-driven, and able to work independently
