About Our Client
A globally established multinationalorganization (Manufacturing Industry) with a complex international supply chain and trade network spanning multiple regions worldwide. As part of its continued investment in global trade compliance and customs excellence, the organization is expanding its Customs Classification function to support growing business requirements and the migration of global activities into its regional hub.
Job Description
- Perform customs classification activities for chemical products, raw materials, and non-chemical materials
- Review product specifications, formulations, and technical information to determine appropriate tariff classifications
- Support customs compliance initiatives, audits, assessments, and regulatory reviews
- Analyze customs regulations and trade requirements to ensure ongoing compliance
- Manage and maintain classification-related master data and documentation
- Support KPI reporting, dashboard preparation, and operational performance monitoring
- Investigate classification discrepancies and customs-related issues while recommending solutions
- Collaborate with regional stakeholders on classification, compliance, and operational matters
- Participate in process improvement, digitalization, and automation initiatives
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Global Customs Classification (Senior Executive) Should Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Material Science, or related disciplines
- 2-5 years of experience in Customs Classification, Trade Compliance, Customs Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Product Stewardship, Chemical Compliance, or related fields
- Strong understanding of chemical products, formulations, raw materials, or manufacturing environment
- Experience with classification activities, regulatory assessments, or product-related analysis
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- SAP or SAP GTS exposure would be advantageous
- Comfortable working with regional and global stakeholders
