We are looking for a Data Analyst with strong experience in Google Analytics, BigQuery, and Looker Studio to support app-focused analytics and raw data analysis. The role is best suited for someone who can work with event-based data, understand app and website feature performance, and turn complex data into clear business insights.
Responsibilities
- Perform deep-dive and ad-hoc analysis to answer stakeholder questions across app usage, website features, feature performance and user behavior
- Translate data from app and website features into actionable insights, recommendations and stakeholder-ready narratives
- Develop dashboards and visualizations that help stakeholders monitor product performance and make data-led decisions
- Interpret event-based tracking data to identify usage patterns, performance trends and potential improvement areas
- Clarify ambiguous analysis requests and structure problem statements into clear analytical approaches
- Apply critical thinking to anticipate data issues, validate findings and suggest practical next steps
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to communicate insights in clear business language
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with BigQuery for querying, transforming and analyzing raw data in data lake environments
- Advanced SQL proficiency, including joins, aggregations, window functions, data validation and performance-aware query writing
- Experience with Google Analytics user interface and data model, including event-based tracking concepts and interpretation of analytics data
- Hands-on experience building reports, dashboards and visualization in Looker Studio
- Ability to work with app or website behavioral datasets, including user events, feature usage and funnel or journey-level analysis
- Good understanding of data quality checks, metric definitions and analytical logic needed to produce reliable insights
Nice to have
- Experience in mobile app data processing
- Knowledge of Firebase and Crashlytics data
- Knowledge of mobile app ecosystems, including iOS and Android
