About the Job

The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights, supporting informed decision-making across business, with a focus on medical claims, cost management and business performance optimisation.

• Design, build and enhance visual analytics to generate insights on medical claim trends and cost drivers for business functions, ensuring continued relevance and usage.
• Provide clear, data-driven insights and recommendations to support business functions in sustainable claims management.
• Lead independent deep-dive analyses and contribute to projects and initiatives to address business challenges and support decision-making.
• Support the development of structured data marts where necessary to improve the scalability, consistency and reusability of visual analytics assets.
• Develop and maintain visual dashboards for business users and management to support exploration, reporting, and decision-making.
• Support ad-hoc requests as required

We are looking for people with

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken (fluency in other Asian languages is a plus).
• BS in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science or equivalent disciplines that focuses on extensive use of data for analysis.
• 3 to 5 years of experience participating in analytics projects as an individual contributor.
• Ability to provide intuitive insights to non-technical stakeholders on complex analysis results.
• Experience in data visualization software such as Tableau is a must.
• Experience in insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
• Working level competency in SQL programming, and standard MS Office applications required.
• R / Python working experience is a plus.
