They are hiring a dynamic and motivated Senior Data Engineer to join their innovative team in Kuala Lumpur. The Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable data transformation pipelines to support business needs.

Key responsibilities of a Senior Data Engineer include:

• Building, deploying, and managing scalable and efficient data solutions for a growing data-driven company.
• Developing reliable ETL pipelines and processes for the ingestion of large volumes of data from various sources.
• Architecting and designing data infrastructure on cloud platforms.
• Mentoring junior engineers.

As an experienced Senior Data Engineer, you would have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in a data engineering role.
• Proven experience in developing large-scale applications using open-source technologies and/or distributed processing platforms such as Spark, Airflow, Hadoop in a product environment.
• Hands-on experience with data engineering tools and platforms like Kafka, Spark, and Hadoop.
• Proficiency in multiple programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, with a good understanding of runtime complexities.
