Senior Data Engineer - Talend

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain data stores, data marts, and data warehouse solutions to support business and operational needs.
• Develop and support scalable ETL processes using Talend, including CI/CD-enabled deployment and automation workflows.
• Create, optimize, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and complex SQL queries for high performance and reliability.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance across data platforms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and proactively resolve ETL, database, and data workflow performance issues.
• Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions and ensure successful delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, data flow diagrams, solution designs, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Talend ETL development.
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing data warehouses, data marts, and enterprise data store solutions.
• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development, including query optimization and performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data integration, and data governance principles.
• Experience integrating data across Oracle and other relational database platforms.
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux shell scripting and job scheduling tools.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments with distributed teams.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in dynamic environments.
