Mills Recruitment is partnering with a leading financial institution in Malaysia to hire a Senior Data Warehouse Analyst, supporting enterprise banking data and reporting initiatives across large-scale data warehouse environments.

The Challenge

You'll work with complex banking data, supporting critical reporting and data warehouse functions while translating business requirements into accurate technical solutions and resolving data-related issues across enterprise systems.

This role is focused on backend data warehouse operations, SQL development, and reporting support.

What You Will Do

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional data mapping and reporting solutions.
• Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL, HQL, stored procedures, and data warehouse scripts.
• Perform data mapping, data profiling, and root cause analysis for data quality and reporting issues.
• Support enterprise data warehouse (EDW) reporting, BAU enhancements, and production fixes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of business data requirements.

Who We Are Looking For

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in Data Warehouse, BI, reporting, or enterprise banking data environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Teradata, Informatica, Hive/HQL, and Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Experience working within banking, financial services or fintech environments.
• Experience with enterprise data warehouse concepts, data modeling, and Financial Services Logical Data Model (FSLDM) frameworks.
