Senior Database Engineer -Microsoft SQL & Cloud-native

Role Description

This is a contract, on-site role for a Senior Database Engineer specializing in Microsoft SQL and cloud-native technologies. Based in WP Kuala Lumpur, the role involves designing, developing, and administering databases to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Daily responsibilities include data modeling, database design, implementing Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes, and maintaining data integrity. The Senior Database Engineer will lead database optimization efforts and contribute to scalable and secure database solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Database Administration and Database Development
• Strong skills in Database Design and Data Modeling
• Experience in creating and managing Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL and cloud-native database technologies
• Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing database performance
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Certifications related to SQL Server or cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS databases) are an advantage
