Senior Datamart Reporting Murex Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Datamart Reporting Murex Developer with strong expertise in Murex Datamart development, reporting, and data integration. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in developing and supporting reporting solutions within Murex environments, along with strong database and programming skills.

The candidate will work closely with business, risk, and technology teams to deliver scalable reporting and data solutions for trading and risk management platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Murex Datamart reporting solutions.
• Develop and optimize reports, extraction layers, and reporting interfaces within the Murex platform.
• Work on data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation activities.
• Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting scripts.
• Collaborate with business users, risk teams, and technical stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
• Support end-to-end project delivery including development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance or data-related issues in reporting environments.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and reporting best practices.

Required Skills

• 6–9 years of experience in Murex development/reporting.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Murex Datamart
• Reporting development in Murex
• SQL and database development
• Experience working with:
• Oracle
• SQL Server 2012
• Windows Server 2012
• Strong programming/scripting experience in:
• SQL
• Java
• Python
• Exposure to Linux environments.
• Good understanding of financial markets and trading systems.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred / Good to Have Skills

• Experience in Risk Reporting and Regulatory Reporting.
• Exposure to capital markets and treasury systems.
• Performance tuning and optimization experience in reporting environments.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
