To support the Manager in managing and co-ordinating the activities of our supply chain and its partners, optimising the Company's efficiency and working capital whilst maintaining the service levels demanded by our customers.
- Drive the monthly S&OP cycle and forecast review meetings with cross-functional stakeholders
- Develop and maintain a 12-month rolling demand forecast by incorporating market intelligence such as promotions, product launches, phase-in/phase-out plans, discontinuations, seasonality and other commercial activities
- Review, validate and challenge demand assumptions from stakeholders to improve forecast accuracy and minimise bias
- Translate the approved demand plan into a supply plan to support timely order placement with Brand Partners
- Balance demand and supply requirements across omni-channels, ensuring optimal stock allocation and rebalancing when necessary
- Reconcile supply plans against demand plans and proactively manage potential risks including supply shortages, excess inventory, slow-moving stocks, supply constraints and unexpected demand spikes
- Analyze demand trends, supply risks and inventory positions, and highlight business risks and opportunities with recommended mitigation or improvement plans
- Conduct historical sales analysis, data validation and data cleansing to establish reliable statistical baseline forecasts
- Monitor key planning parameters and inventory health indicators including forecast bias, stock cover, service level, excess and obsolete exposure
- Prepare and maintain monthly forecasting files, S&OP decks, KPI reports and other management reporting tools
- Work closely with Regulatory Affairs and relevant stakeholders to assess the impact of pending or new regulations, product registration timelines and compliance changes on demand and supply planning
- Support demand and supply planning projects, process improvement initiatives and system enhancement activities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes, tools and governance to enhance efficiency, visibility, and decision-making quality
Requirements
- Have a tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of relevant working experience that will allow the successful performance of job expectations
- At least 1-3 years of related working experience in supply chain / procurement industry
- Have collaborated with regulatory affairs groups to assess pending and new regulations and changes, and have demonstrated the ability to reduce and manage complexity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP experience is an added advantage
- Have good organization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines
- Have good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion
