We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer Unix/Shell to contribute to our Wholesale Digital Banking team, delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain Digital Banking applications for Wholesale Banking customers
- Build responsive front-end components using React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- Support backend integrations and services within Oracle database environments
- Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts for batch jobs, deployments, and automation tasks
- Perform application troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning
- Support deployments across HPUX, Linux, and Solaris environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and estimations
- Ensure compliance with banking security, audit, and regulatory standards
- Prepare technical documentation and management reports as required
What You Bring
Must-have:
- 69 years of experience in software development and production support
- Strong hands-on experience in React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- Experience working in Unix environments (HPUX, Linux, Solaris)
- Proven experience developing and maintaining Unix shell scripts
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database and SQL fundamentals
- Experience in application troubleshooting and performance optimization
- Good understanding of SDLC and change management processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skill
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Java, JSP, Spring Framework, XML, and SQL
- Exposure to AEM Forms/Sites, TeamSite, or Web Content Management (WCM) platforms
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Knowledge of management reporting processes within banking systems
