We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to architect secure, scalable automation pipelines and lead the execution of our infrastructure reliability and continuous delivery roadmap. In this role, you will lead development and operational excellence in CI/CD automation, environment provisioning, and cloud orchestration, setting the standard for DevOps engineering excellence across the lifecycle. You will turn vision-level infrastructure designs into robust, production-ready systems, acting as a technical mentor for junior engineers and a primary partner for global stakeholders. You will work with substantial autonomy, managing high-complexity environments under pressure while ensuring technical integrity and system availability.

Key responsibilities include:

• CI/CD & Delivery:Lead the design, evaluation, and operationalization of automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline code deployment and infrastructure agility.
• Containerization & Cloud Orchestration:Architect and implement standardized container environments across hybrid infrastructures, utilizing OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, and GCP.
• System Integration & Middleware:Coordinate with internal and external teams to orchestrate complex services, managing middleware platforms alongside SOA service orchestration.
• Monitoring & Observability:Enforce production governance by implementing robust centralized logging via Splunk and continuous monitoring infrastructure with Grafana and Prometheus to track pipeline and system performance.
• Technical Leadership:Act as the technical lead on DevOps engineering teams (indirectly managing 1-3 people), distributing specialist knowledge, managing version control frameworks with GitHub, and auditing infrastructure code quality.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, your expertise in architecting, leading, and sustaining complex automation and environment systems is critical. You will drive our technical roadmap by solving high-complexity infrastructure issues and mentoring the wider engineering team. Your ability to navigate the intersection of robust cloud containerization, multi-platform operating systems, and proactive monitoring frameworks will be the cornerstone of your success.

Qualifications:

• Required
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: 5-8 years of professional software or systems engineering experience, with at least 2+ years focused speci fically on Production DevOps environments and methodology.
  • Automation & CI/CD: Proven experience building advanced continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows, pipeline infrastructure, and automation scripts.
  • Operating Systems Mastery: Hands-on experience administrating and troubleshooting multi-platform environments across RedHat Linux and Windows Server platforms.
  • Remote Repository Management: Deep expertise managing enterprise source control structures, branching strategies, and collaboration workflows via GitHub.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving infrastructure issues of high complexity within delivery pipelines and live environments.
• Preferred
  • Container Platforms: Advanced mastery of container orchestration utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and multi-cloud environments (Azure AKS, GCP).
  • Observability & Logging: Hands-on experience setting up production-grade log aggregations using Splunk, combined with metric monitoring and alerting via Grafana and Prometheus.
  • Middleware Administration: Knowledge or experience supporting application runtime environments powered by Oracle WebLogic Server (versions 11g and 12c).

Hi, my name is Chong Jin Chun and I'm a team manager. I started my career at DHL IT Services back in 2007, when I took a role as Senior Software Engineer in the Customer Service team. Gaining more hands-on experience with Solution Architecture has always fascinated me, so from there, I moved fast through the company ladder and soon landed a Principal Architect role. In 2019, I moved to a management role, being Team Manager. Together with the strong support of a multinational & diverse team, we are working on our common ambition - technology.
