Senior DevOps Engineer

To help us build functional systems that improve customer experience, we are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in deploying product updates, identifying production issues, implementing integrations, and managing Kubernetes clusters and environments to meet our customers needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering, experience with cloud technologies, a passion for infrastructure automation and container orchestration, and expertise in managing K8s clusters and environments, we'd love to speak with you.

Objectives of this Role

Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure

Developing and maintaining new CI/CD pipelines

Managing Kubernetes clusters and environments

Understanding the needs of stakeholders and effectively communicating those to developers

Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes

Testing and reviewing code written by others, analyzing results, and providing constructive feedback

Ensuring the safety and security of systems against cybersecurity threats

Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes

Collaborating with software developers and engineers to ensure adherence to established processes and the intended functionality of development projects

Planning out projects and actively participating in project management decisions

Investigating and resolving technical issues promptly and effectively

Developing applications for automated visualization and integration with internal back-end systems

Skills and Qualifications

5+ years of experience in DevOps Engineer roles

BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role

Working knowledge of databases and SQL

Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud

Proficiency in container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes

Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Chef

Proficiency with Git and Git workflows

Strong problem-solving attitude and attention to detail

Collaborative team spirit and excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in computer science or software engineering

Experience with cloud technology such as AWS, Azure or Ali cloud.

Experience developing engineering applications.
