We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer and Technical Lead to own our ServiceNow platform, which hosts more than 12 enterprise applications. This role is responsible for the platform's technical direction, reliability, and long-term evolution.
You will act as the primary technical authority for ServiceNow, balancing hands-on engineering with platform leadership. A key focus of this role is Technical Acceptance Testing, ensuring all platform changes meet defined technical, quality, and operational standards before release.
This is a true ownership role, focused on stability, scalability, and continuous improvement and not consulting or short-term delivery.
Ready to embark on the journey Here's what we are looking for:
- Technical Acceptance & Quality Ownership
- Own and lead Technical Acceptance Testing for all ServiceNow changes and releases
- Define and enforce technical acceptance criteria, quality gates, and readiness standards
- Ensure solutions meet architectural, performance, security, and operational requirements before production release
- Platform & DevOps Leadership
- Own the technical architecture, reliability, and overall health of the ServiceNow platform
- Lead DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automation, release management, and platform upgrades
- Drive automation of testing, validation, and deployment processes
ServiceNow Engineering
- Design and build custom workflows, applications, scripts, and integrations
- Define development standards and lead code and design reviews
- Ensure platform security, performance, scalability, and availability
Collaboration & Enablement
- Partner with individual application and internal teams to deliver scalable, sustainable solutions
- Mentor engineers and administrators and serve as the technical escalation point
Required Experience
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Enterprise Systems
- 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, automation, and release governance
- Advanced JavaScript skills; experience with REST/SOAP integrations
- Proven experience as a technical lead, platform owner, or quality gatekeeper
Nice to Have
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS)
- Experience with ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SecOps, or HRSD
- Experience in cloud, security, or large-scale enterprise environments
