Job Description
Strategy and Planning
- Develop framework & best practices for digital analytic across CIMB Martech systems.
- Identifies key objectives, financial and other performance measures for the department.
- Keeps abreast of the digital landscape in order to be able to take actions to capitalise on opportunities and mitigate threats.
- Provides advice and support to stakeholders on digital strategies to achieve Group overall business objectives.
Business Performance and Management
- Drive P&L growth, customer portfolio growth for Group Consumer Banking, Commercial Banking, Transaction Banking, and Digital Banking, including driving cross-selling initiatives in the local markets.
- Work closely with Business/Channel owner to conceptualization and execution of A/B Testing using Adobe Target to optimize CIMB group websites for higher sales/revenue generations.
- Interact with Business/Marketing teams and understand the context, business objective of the analysis and independently structure the analysis.
- Actively analyze and interpret data to ensure effective customer segmentation, to improve customer acquisition, engagement, retention and loyalty.
- Ability to complete detailed analysis and provide actionable recommendations that help shape the digital user experience.
- Maintain functional expertise in web analytics & web/app personalisation best practices and the tools that support them.
- Any other responsibilities / task as assigned by management from time to time.
People Management
- Manages the performance of stakeholders and the management team
- Develop inhouse capability for digital analytics & enablement ,train and reskill the existing resources.
- Lead a small team in MY, manage day to day projects, and mentor, coach and motivate team for high performance.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensures all Group operations are in compliance with Group, local and regional regulations
Job Specification *
Qualifications
(Basic Degree/Diploma etc)
- Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in the relevant discipline (Accounting/Finance/Business Intelligence/Data Science and Analytic)
Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing requirements
Relevant Work Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in digital analytics and digital marketing exposure.

Technical/Functional skills
- In-depth knowledge of web technology and digital marketing stacks such as CDP or DMP.
- Exposure to Web Analytic tools and A/B Test tool, able to define hypothesis from customer journey data.
- Strong analytic mindset & insightful.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe solutions or Google Analytics.
- Familiar with HTML programming such as JS script/JQuery.
Personal skills (Soft Competencies [Core/Leadership])
- Strong presentation and influencing skills, required in guiding and assisting teams in putting forward proposals for stakeholders.
- Ability to influence and manage stakeholders.
- Proven track record of achieving digital sales targets, project development and management.
