Position Overview
The Account Director serves as a senior client relationship leader, responsible for managing strategic client accounts, driving business growth, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to develop and execute comprehensive account strategies that align with both client objectives and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic accounts, building and maintaining executive-level relationships. Develop deep understanding of client business objectives, challenges, and organizational dynamics. Proactively identify client needs and opportunities for expanded service delivery. Lead regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions with clients to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
Account Strategy and GrowthDevelop and execute comprehensive account plans that identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks. Drive revenue growth through strategic expansion of services within existing accounts. Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across the organization's service portfolio. Collaborate with business development teams to pursue new opportunities within managed accounts.
Team Leadership and DevelopmentLead and mentor account management teams, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback. Foster a collaborative team environment focused on client success and professional growth. Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and services. Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across service lines.
Service Delivery ExcellenceEnsure consistent delivery of high-quality services that meet or exceed client expectations. Monitor service performance metrics and implement improvement initiatives as needed. Resolve complex client issues and escalations effectively and professionally. Maintain thorough knowledge of service offerings, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Financial ManagementManage account-level financial performance including revenue targets, profitability, and forecasting. Develop and manage account budgets in collaboration with finance teams. Review contracts and service agreements to ensure favorable terms and appropriate risk management. Track and report on key performance indicators and account health metrics.
Required Qualifications
Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field required. 8-10 years of progressive experience in account management, client services, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years in a senior account management or director-level role. Experience managing complex, multi-service accounts in a professional services environment.

Working Conditions
