Position Summary:
This role reports directly to the CFO and primarily supports the head of operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Manages the financial reporting, analysis and ad hoc support for the operations functions including:
i) Global Manufacturing
ii) Global Procurement
iii) Global Supply Chain
- Business Partner to the COO and LED Operations Management team. Lead discussions & drive decisions from a financial / business perspective. Help develop and execute the strategy for the company's global operations
- Provide financial stewardship – champion all aspects of finance, accounting and reporting for the WW Operations function and ensuring that financial targets and plans are aligned with Lumileds strategies and objectives
- Works closely with the head of FP&A to support the monthly forecast, and annual plan processes which involves the coordination of inputs from the operations teams. Lead for Gross Profit analysis of Price, Volume and Mix
- Forecast short, mid and long term capital investment requirement. Analyze, challenge and ratify Capital investment proposals with factory teams and CAPEX Board
- Drive the development and maintenance of detailed cost price models and cost price roadmaps in a fast changing environment. Ensure factory teams drive continues improvement in cost through yield, value engineering, purchasing, material consumption and other related improvements.
- Manages the company standard cost accounting process, including the annual standards revisions and monthly variance analysis
- Supports product management with business case analysis for product investments and pricing models
- Provides coaching and development to the factory controllers (direct reports) and the global manufacturing team
- Identifies opportunities and insights for improving profitability and operational cost efficiency
- Establish a highly collaborative, cross-functional relationships across the business and organization
What You Will Bring (Required Qualifications):
- 15+ years of experience, ideally with experience in operations finance within a global, complex, manufacturing businesses.
- Exceptional communicator with ability to present concepts, recommendations and analyses to executive team in a clear, concise and actionable manner.
- Ability to understand complex business drivers, produce high-quality analytics and communicate results effectively.
- Experience aligning and driving cross-functional groups.
- Problem solving and project management skills, with the ability to proactively manage to schedules and timelines.
- Proven track record of advanced analytical skills; must be able to define and execute key analyses with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Experience creating and implementing process and standardizing financial reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
