The Senior Director, IT - JAPAC, serves as the senior technology leader for the Japan & Asia Pacific (JAPAC) region and the IT Site Leader for the Kuala Lumpur (KL) Business Service Center (BSC). This role is accountable for regional solution delivery, strategic business partnership, and operational excellence, while ensuring a strong IT employee experience, talent development, and performance culture at the BSC within a global, matrixed IT organization.

The role partners closely with senior business and functional leaders to define, deliver, and govern secure, compliant, and scalable technology solutions, ensuring alignment with Global IT strategy while enabling effective regional execution and sitelevel performance.

How You Will Make an Impact:

Regional IT Business Partnership & Solution Delivery (JAPAC)

. Strategic Transformation & Value Leadership (JAPAC)

. Own and drive a rolling threeyear regional IT roadmap aligned to global strategy and JAPAC business priorities, with clear outcomes, milestones, and value realization across Commercial, Supply Chain & Logistics, and Data & AI domains.

. Lead regionspecific digital and technology transformation, modernizing processes, platforms, and data capabilities to address unique country and market needs while maintaining global scalability and compliance.

. Identify and deliver significant, measurable business value, proactively challenging legacy ways of working and introducing bold, creative solutions that accelerate growth, efficiency, and decisionmaking in the region.

. Own the regional IT portfolio, Core Transformation Focus Areas

o Commercial (Sales, Marketing & Commercial Operations)

Transform commercial capabilities across demand generation, customer engagement, pricing, forecasting, and field effectiveness.

Partner with commercial leadership to enable datadriven decisionmaking, digital gotomarket models, and improved customer experiences across JAPAC markets.

o Supply Chain & Logistics

Drive endtoend modernization of supply chain and logistics capabilities, including planning, manufacturing integration, inventory, distribution, and regional fulfillment.

Enable resilience, visibility, and agility across the supply chain by leveraging digital platforms, analytics, and automation.

o Data & AI

Establish a strong regional vision for data, analytics, and AI adoption, aligning with enterprise platforms while accelerating local use cases.

Champion AIenabled insights, decision support, and operational intelligence to improve commercial performance, supply reliability, and executive visibility.

. Enterprise Collaboration & Governance:

o Operate as the senior regional orchestrator, collaborating closely with Global IT delivery organizations and platform teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment.

. Act as a trusted advisor to senior executive leadership, providing comprehensive portfolio insight across IT and businessmanaged technology services, including financial management, service performance, security, risk, and compliance.

. Drive endtoend delivery accountability, from solution discovery and design through deployment, adoption, steadystate operations, and value realization.

. Define and evolve IT operating models and partner ecosystems, establishing performance metrics and governance to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant solution delivery aligned with regional and global business priorities.

IT Site Leader - Kuala Lumpur Business Service Center

. Serve as the IT Functional Leader and senior IT presence for the Kuala Lumpur BSC, accountable for local IT execution, operational performance, and alignment with Global IT strategy.

. Act as a member of the BSC Site Leadership Team, representing IT in sitelevel strategy, operational planning, and execution decisions.

. Provide sitelevel matrix leadership and functional oversight for all BSCbased IT employees, including those with dottedline reporting relationships, ensuring consistent ways of working and local support.

. Serve as a local advocate and support leader for sitebased IT employees, partnering with global people managers to support onboarding, engagement, development, and performance feedback.

. Own IT performance at the BSC, including scorecards, service levels, delivery metrics, and vendor oversight, driving continuous improvement aligned with global standards.

. Build and sustain the IT talent ecosystem for the site, partnering with HR, educational institutions, and industry councils to support hiring, onboarding, capability building, and longterm employee success.

What You'll Need (Requirements):

. Bachelor's degree in a related field with 14+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 12+ years of experience, in IT leadership or related functions.

. Demonstrated experience leading enterprisescale IT portfolios within complex, multiregional organizations.

. Strong experience in vendor management and contract negotiations for software development and application services.

. Proven seniorlevel business partnership experience with executives and functional leaders.

. Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment.

. Demonstrated ability to influence executivelevel stakeholders, frame complex technology topics for business leaders, and drive alignment without direct authority.

. Ability to travel (day and overnight by car, air, train, etc.) will vary. Percentage of time is determined by Management and business needs.

. Broad understanding of modern enterprise technology environments, including application platforms, digital ecosystems, and emerging technology trends.

. Strong financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, evaluating investments, and demonstrating business value from technology initiatives.

. Ability to influence across a global, matrixed organization, managing competing priorities in a fastpaced environment.

. Demonstrated success negotiating complex business and technology matters, internally and externally, including vendor and partner engagements.

. Professional presence and credibility to operate effectively at the executive level, influencing enterprise standards and decisionmaking.

. Experience in the life sciences industry (e.g., medical device, healthcare, etc.) preferred but not required.

. Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control.
