Job Description

Our client is a reputable multinational construction company involved in large scale industrial, manufacturing and infrastructure projects in Malaysia. Due to ongoing project expansion, they are seeking an experienced Document Controller to support project documentation management and coordination activities at the site office.

Location to work: Nilai, Negeri Sembilan

Job Responsibilities: -

  • Manage and maintain all project related documents, drawings, technical submissions, correspondence and records
  • Administer and monitor document control systems, ensuring proper filling, version control, distribution and retrieval of documents
  • Handle document submissions to clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain and update records through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / Forma platform
  • Ensure all project documentation complies with company procedures and project requirements
  • Coordinate with project documentation complies with company procedures and project requirements
  • Coordinate with project teams, engineering with company procedures and project requirements
  • Coordinate with project teams, engineering, QA/QC, commercial and site personnel regarding document control matters
  • Track document status, revisions, approvals and outstanding submissions
  • Generate document control reports and provide regular updates to project management
  • Support project administration activities, including meeting minutes, correspondence and reporting
  • Assist in supervising and coordinating document control team members when required
  • Ensure project records are properly achieved upon project completion

Requirements: -


  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in document control within the construction, engineering or project environment
  • Hands on experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)/ Forma is required
  • Prior experience in project administration, account administration or project coordination functions will be an added advantage
  • Experience leading or supervising a small team is preffered
  • Strong understanding of document control processes, workflows and project documentation standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment
