  • This is 3 months job basis from 1st September 2026 to 30th November 2026

Description


  • Report directly to the Drilling Superintendent.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable COMPANY Health, Safety and Environmental policies, standards and procedures at the well-site.
  • Participate in all safety meetings, and pre-job safety meetings (including Job Safety Analyses) to ensure that any risks associated with performing any tasks are reduced to as low as reasonably practical. Reinforce the right to stop work, if hazards are likely to cause an incident, to all personnel.
  • Continuously liaise with the offshore Production personnel to ensure that all SIMOPs activities are performed in a safe manner in compliance with company's procedures.
  • Ensure that the worked performed offshore is completed in accordance with all COMPANY operating policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with the onshore engineering team to ensure
  • Provide support to the offshore Completions Supervisors whenever required to do so.
  • Personally supervise all critical well site operations.
  • Review all Daily Reports to include the Daily Drilling Report, Casing and Cementing Reports, and Leak-off Test reports, prior to submission to company onshore offices.
  • -Coordinate all operations at the well site with the Drilling Contractor, and service companies to ensure compliance with the work programs, to include preparation of Daily Work Instructions and Weekly Forecasts.
  • Liaise closely with the Logistics Coordinator to ensure the timely arrival and departure of items to and from the rig, including maintenance of the rental register.
  • Manage well-site inventory of consumable drilling supplies (such as cement, barite, bits and nozzles).

Requirement


  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualifications
  • Be in possession of a current IWCF Combined Supervisors Level well control certificate
  • Have at least 20 years practical experience in the drilling industry
  • Have at least 10 years prior experience in the role
  • Have prior experience in semi-tender/tender assisted rig, involving heavy lift of drilling packages onto platform.
  • Have prior experience in development drilling projects.
  • Be in possession of a current IWCF Well Control Certificate to Supervisors Level.
  • Be self-motivated to accomplish world-class results.
  • Have a sufficiently broad experience base to be able to exercise independent thought and decision making.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Be computer literate.
  • Have a strong written and verbal command of English.
  • Be responsible directly to the Drilling Superintendent
