Senior E-Invoicing Systems Consultant

Overview

A leading technology solutions provider is seeking a Senior E-Invoicing Systems Consultant to lead full-cycle LHDN e-Invoicing implementations for enterprise and high-volume clients. This role is intended for experienced professionals who have successfully delivered multiple end-to-end e-Invoicing projects and can independently manage system design, data workflows, and client engagements with authority and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive LHDN e-Invoicing implementations, including:
• Data extraction, transformation, and validation (ETL)
• System and platform integrations
• API integrations with invoice gateways and LHDN
• Invoice submission, validation, response management, and reconciliation
• Ensure full compliance with LHDN e-Invoicing regulations and scenarios
• Design and validate integration workflows, error-handling frameworks, and high-volume processing solutions
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate business and functional requirements into technical execution
• Act as a senior client-facing consultant, confidently leading implementation discussions and workshops
• Mentor or supervise a small team where required

Required Experience

• 35 completed full-cycle e-Invoicing implementations
• Hands-on experience with:
• LHDN e-Invoicing APIs
• Invoice submission, validation, and response workflows
• Strong understanding of:
• API integrations
• ETL and data transformation
• High-volume invoicing systems
• Background in:
• Consulting firms, or
• E-Invoicing vendors / solution providers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with regional or global e-Invoicing providers (e.g., Malaysia, India, Europe)
• Exposure to banking, financial services, or large enterprise environments
• Experience reviewing or drafting Functional Specification Documents (FSDs)

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Senior, self-directed consultant capable of operating independently with minimal supervision
• Strong domain expertise in invoicing with a solid grasp of end-to-end system behaviour and integration architecture
• Confident and effective in client-facing communication and presentations
• Demonstrated track record of delivering production-grade e-Invoicing implementations

Not Suitable For

• Junior or first-time e-Invoicing implementers
• Generic project managers without hands-on implementation experience
