Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Editor / Senior Content Writer to own and elevate our content quality across brand, product, and growth initiatives in Malaysia. This role requires a strong editorial mindset, clear storytelling skills, and the ability to translate complex products into simple, compelling narratives for SMEs.

You will work closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, and regional stakeholders to shape messaging, campaigns, and content standards.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Editorial Ownership

  • Own the editorial direction, tone, and messaging across all content touchpoints
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice across online and offline channels
  • Translate business and product strategies into clear, engaging content

Content Creation & Editing

  • Write and edit high-quality content including:
    • Campaign messaging
    • Product positioning & landing pages
    • Sales enablement materials
    • Articles, case studies, scripts, and announcements
  • Edit and refine content produced by internal teams or external agencies
Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product and Marketing teams to simplify complex fintech / product concepts
  • Support go-to-market launches with clear messaging frameworks
  • Work with Sales teams to develop customer-facing narratives and pitch materials

Quality Control & Governance

  • Act as the final editorial gatekeeper to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency
  • Establish content guidelines and best practices for the team
  • Maintain high standards across fast-paced, multi-channel outputs

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in content, editorial, or communications roles
  • Experience in tech, fintech, SaaS, B2B, or agency environments is strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to handle both strategic thinking and hands-on writing

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Strong ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, customer-friendly language
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills

Language

  • Strong command of English
  • Mandarin / Chinese proficiency is a strong advantage (for regional or Chinese-related content)
