Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and engineer electrical systems for offshore platforms and subsea equipment
  • Lead electrical engineering teams and mentor junior engineers
  • Coordinate with multinational EPC contractors and equipment manufacturers
  • Develop electrical design specifications and technical documentation
  • Manage electrical procurement, vendor qualification, and supply chain
  • Conduct feasibility studies, HAZOP, and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with international standards (DNV, ABS, API, IEC)
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
  • Liaise with clients and regulatory authorities
  • Support field commissioning and troubleshooting activities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 5-10 years of experience in offshore oil & gas EPCI projects
  • Proven experience with multinational engineering companies
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems in offshore environment
  • Proficiency in electrical CAD software (AutoCAD, E3D, or similar)
  • Familiarity with international codes and standards (API, DNV, ABS, IEC)
  • Project management experience in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with subsea electrical systems
  • Knowledge of power generation and distribution systems
