Job Purpose
The Electrical Engineer will lead the commissioning (Cx) process from pre-commissioning through to final handover, ensuring electrical systems and equipment are tested, verified, and delivered in compliance with design specifications, regulatory standards, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commissioning process from pre-commissioning through to final handover.
- Develop, manage, and execute commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
- Coordinate commissioning activities and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.
- Oversee testing of systems and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications, regulatory standards, and project requirements.
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure designs meet operational requirements.
- Review project documentation (drawings, specifications, manuals) to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to commissioning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in commissioning of electrical systems in data center projects
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, testing procedures, and regulatory/compliance standards.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good coordination and project management abilities.
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skill
