Responsibilities

Extensive experience in all electrical works, particularly in Plant Electrical and Substation Maintenance Activities.

Familiarity with maintenance programs, engineering specifications, codes, drawings, and industrial practices; experience in construction is advantageous.

Broad electrical engineering expertise in low voltage and high voltage systems, including motors, switch gears, motorized valves, and transformers.

Proficient in handling air circuit breakers, vacuum circuit breakers, air disconnect switches, oil circuit breakers, battery stations/chargers, cables and bus, surge arrestors, and UPS systems.

Capable of identifying and implementing improvement ideas to enhance operational performance, availability, and cost reduction (KAIZEN).

Evaluates the efficiency of electrical systems, machinery, components, and products.

Understands design specifications and technical drawings.

Responsible for installation and inspection of HV/MV cables, switch gears, and protection relays.

Knowledgeable in preventive maintenance, including inspections of switchgear insulators and supports for damage and deterioration.

Designs testing methods for various systems.

Ensures plant and associated systems operate and maintain in compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Control & Instrumentation Engineering and/or any professional qualification in related fields or equivalent Experience
• Min of 5-10 years or more of experience in Electrical Equipment's related jobs in refinery or petrochemical plant maintenance
