Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bayan Lepas for a Senior Employee & Industrial Relations Officer. The individual will act as a key advisor to the organization on matters related to employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. Responsibilities include managing employee grievances, handling labor disputes, fostering a positive workplace environment, and supporting management with disciplinary actions. The role requires liaising with labor unions, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing strategies to enhance employee engagement and productivity.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, industrial relations practices, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with employee engagement, grievance handling, and workplace conflict resolution
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work with diverse teams and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability in policy development and implementation
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee and industrial relations or a related HR specialty
  • Proficiency with HR management systems and reporting tools is an advantage
  • Professional certification in HR or industrial relations is a plus
