We are seeking an experienced Senior Endpoint Security Engineer with a strong background in managing and operating enterprise endpoint security platforms, specifically Trellix ePO / Trellix EDR or Trend Micro Endpoint Security. The ideal candidate must have 4+ years of hands-on experience in endpoint security operations, administration, and threat remediation.
This role will be responsible for planning, deploying, maintaining and optimizing endpoint security solutions, as well as supporting investigations, incident response and continuous improvement of endpoint protection capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, administer, and maintain Trellix ePO, Trellix EDR, or Trend Micro Endpoint Security solutions.
- Perform endpoint policy configuration, tuning and signature updates.
- Monitor and respond to endpoint security events, alerts and incidents.
- Investigate and remediate malware infections, endpoint-based threats and vulnerabilities.
- Ensure endpoint agents are properly deployed, updated, and functioning.
- Conduct regular health checks and performance optimization of endpoint protection systems.
- Collaborate with SOC, Threat Intelligence and Incident Response teams for threat containment and resolution.
- Provide support for security audits, compliance reporting and security posture reviews.
- Develop documentation including SOPs, guidelines and technical procedures.
- Train and guide junior engineers when required.
Requirements
- 4+ years experience in endpoint security management.
- Hands-on experience with at least one of the following:
- Trellix ePO (McAfee ePO)
- Trellix EDR
- Trend Micro Apex One / Trend Micro Endpoint Security
- Strong understanding of endpoint protection, threat detection, anti-malware, and EDR technologies.
- Experience troubleshooting endpoint agent issues and deployment challenges.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
