We are looking for a Senior Engineer to drive the digitalization of our robotics automation projects. In this role, you will apply strong technical expertise to design, implement, and continuously improve digital and automation solutions that enhance efficiency, productivity, and data driven decision making. You will take technical ownership of initiatives and provide engineering leadership across cross functional teams, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and sustainable throughout both project and operation.
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
Digitalization & Engineering Excellence
- Contributing to design, develop, deploy, optimize and sustain in project and operation independently related to
- Material handling and transportation systems, such as:
- Manufacturing Control Systems (MCS)
- Fleet managers for Cobot AMR and OHT
- Stocker controllers
- Routing logic and transport job prioritization
- WIP flow analysis, calculation, and simulation to meet end‑to‑end robotics automation performance targets
- Integration with factory systems platforms
- Analyze existing engineering and automation processes, identify inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvement through digitalization
- Ensure high‑quality engineering outcomes by applying best practices in requirements definition, validation, testing, documentation, and lifecycle management
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing, automation, IT, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into robust and effective technical solutions
Project & Execution Support (Engineering Focus)
- Contribute to planning and execution of automation initiatives from a technical perspective, including effort estimation, technical risk assessment, and solution planning
- Identify technical risks and constraints early and propose mitigation measures and alternative solutions
- Ensure alignment with internal engineering standards, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements
- Support vendor selection, technical evaluations, and design reviews as a subject matter expert
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor backend processes, robotics systems (e.g., MCS, fleet management), equipment load port modification, stockers, Cobot AMR, OHT, or related technical roles
- Strong hands‑on experience designing and implementing digitalization or automation solutions
- Proven experience working in cross‑functional environments and translating business requirements into engineering solutions
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
- A structured, quality‑focused engineering mindset with strong ownership and accountability
