Job Description

Responsibilities:

Learn and support internal applications in Java and Python
Collaborate with team to support 3 rd -party applications
Communicate on work progress
Assist in infrastructure development and maintenance
Perform infrastructure design reviews

The position requires strong Java and database skills , along with some experience with customer support.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

BSc degree (Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical degree)
Experience of Java development and debugging
SQL database backend , preferably PostgreSQL
Knowledge of client-server applications and security (HTTPS, TLS 1.3)
Python development experience
Linux use and preferably administration experience
Customer support experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
T eam player who works well in collaborative situations
Strong problem-solving, and analytical skills, willingness to take up complex challenges and triage environmental issues
