Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for sustaining product performance and ensuring high uptime of test systems during NPI and production.
- Lead troubleshooting of tester and product-related issues (e.g., Hydra/BER), driving fast root cause analysis and recovery.
- Own preventive maintenance strategy, calibration, and system health to achieve >95% uptime.
- Support NPI setup, qualification, and smooth transition to production with stable processes and good yield.
- Work closely with Test Engineering, PE, QA, and Production to resolve downtime and improve test performance.
- Drive yield improvement, failure analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives (cost, cycle time, efficiency).
- Mentor junior engineers and guide technicians on troubleshooting and best practices.
- Track key metrics (downtime, yield, MTTR) and provide structured updates.
- Requires engineering degree, strong hands-on experience in test systems, and problem-solving skills in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Education & Experience
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or its equivalents with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Analytical Thinking & Detailed Oriented
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
