Purpose of the Role:
The Senior Engineer – Concept Development is responsible for developing and implementing innovative manufacturing concepts that support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and the continuous improvement of existing production solutions. The role combines technical expertise, feasibility assessment, risk evaluation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver efficient, scalable, and future-ready manufacturing solutions aligned with business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and evaluate new manufacturing concepts, processes, and technical solutions
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new production concepts and technologies
- Create technical specifications, design documentation, and implementation plans
- Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and project teams to ensure successful concept deployment
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support manufacturing excellence programs
- Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for innovation and process optimization
Technical Competencies:
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial systems
- Design of industrial equipment
- Ability to analyze and solve complex engineering challenges
- Knowledge of project management and risk management methodologies

Education:
- Master's degree (or bachelor's degree with experience) in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
Relevant Experience Required:
- 5+ years of experience in engineering design, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or production development.
- Experience working within manufacturing or production environments.
- Understanding product lifecycle management processes.
- Experience with feasibility studies, process development, or industrial projects is an advantage.
- Renewable energy industry experience is beneficial but not required
