As a Quality Management System (QMS) Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving the organization's quality management system to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA6.3). This position is responsible for driving internal audits program, managing document control, and coordinating Process Change Notifications (PCN) for continuous improvement.
Our Team
You will be part of the Quality Excellence Team within the Quality Division, working closely with all stakeholders across the organization . This team is critical to maintain Quality Management System against Standard requirements and customer specific requirements.
What You Will Do2. Drive and manage the Document Control function plant wide including document confidentiality.
- To ensure and evaluate the adequacy of Quality Management System (ISO-9001, IATF-16949, VDA6.3) plant-wide to ensure compliance to the company's mission and goals.
- Lead initiatives to enhance the existing quality management system, including oversight of internal QMS processes.
- Organize and facilitate the annual management review, ensuring comprehensive reporting and followup actions.
- Secure successful QMS certifications and manage external audits conducted by certification bodies and customers.
- Lead the Internal Audit Program, ensuring comprehensive planning, effective execution, and timely closure of actions.
- Represent site as Global Change Management Local Coordinator. Participation and execution for compliance to the Global Change Management Policy.
- Manage UL and CSA product safety requirements including agency liaison for this site.
- Manage Customer Specific Requirement (CSR) and customer survey processes, coordinating responses and driving internal compliance.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Demonstrated expertise in Quality Management Systems with strong proficiency in auditing practice
- Strong knowledge of Quality tools and methodologies: ISO9001, IATF16949, VDA6.3, 5 Core Tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced production setting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead diverse groups.
What Will Put You Ahead
- ISO9001 Lead Auditor Certification or equivalent advanced auditing credentials.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (Power BI, Power Automate) for quality metrics and reporting.
- Strategic thinking and change management skills to align quality initiatives with business objectives
