Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Engineer to join our technical team in developing, sustaining and optimizing new and existing products within a dynamic, high-volume manufacturing environment. In this role, you will drive the development and implementation of advanced test engineering strategies for our cutting-edge storage products, ensuring efficiency, quality, and scalability from NPI to HVM.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Act as the primary technical owner for product performance in both NPI and High Volume Manufacturing.

  • Optimize Test Strategies: Design and execute efficient test plans, testtime, yield, and quality to meet factory financialgoals. Identify cost-effective testing methods through troubleshooting, validation, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and Collaborate on Engineering Solutions: Lead and implement innovative engineering solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success under competitive timeline.
  • Champion Innovation and Cost Efficiency: Collaboratively integrate advanced testing technologies, research, and adopt cost-saving solutions like Test Time Reduction (TTR) and new test platforms, driving CAPEX reduction. Continuously improve test programsand test infrastructure to enhance product quality and reliability.
  • Inhouse Tester (SHRACKU) Ownership:Lead the development, integration, and maintenance of inhouse test platform(SHRACKU), focusing on Linux-based control, network IP, and USB protocol validation to ensure test stability and scalability in HVM.
  • Technical Expertise and Support: Provide leadership and execute technical support in electrical failure analysis (EFA), exploring new test method/EFAtechnique to addressRMAs, production, reliability, and DPPM improvement. Analyze test results and deliver reports to stakeholders with actionable insights for improvement.
  • Technical Communication and Documentation:Develop and deliver clear, concise technical reports and documentation, including EFA, work instructions, test equipment guidelines, test reports, and specifications.
  • NPI Support:Lead NPI projects, ensuring smooth transfer of test technology from NPI to HVM. Developing test solution to ensure product performance meets competitive goals.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers, promote best practices, and facilitate knowledge transfer through technical training.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree inElectrical or Electronic Engineering, with aminimum of 3years experiencein semiconductor product or test engineering.
  • Strong technical foundation intest engineering for memory or semiconductor deviceswithinHigh Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
  • Proficient inproblem-solving methodologiessuch as FMEA, DMAIC, and Fishbone analysis, as well asstatistical toolsincluding SPC, SBL, and SYL.
  • Familiar withFlip Chip technologyand its impact on product performance and reliability.
  • Solid understanding ofnetwork IP integration,communication protocols, andtester connectivityacross distributed environments.
  • Proven hands-on experience withATE test platformoperation, setup, correlation, and troubleshooting for yield and test efficiency improvement.

Preferred

  • Deep understanding ofNon-Volatile Memory (NVM) testing,failure mechanisms, andElectrical Failure Analysis (EFA)techniques.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Proficiency inLinux OSfor test automation, scripting, and system integration.
  • Practical programming ability inPython, SQL, C++, and Javafor test development and data automation.
  • Experience withUSB protocol test, validation, and debug using analyzers or compliance tools.
  • Demonstrated success indeveloping, debugging, and optimizing test programsto improve yield, performance, and cost efficiency.

Skills

  • Skilled intest program development and optimization, focusing on yield improvement, test time reduction, and test coverage enhancement.
  • Familiar withinstrumentation interfacessuch as SPI, UARTandATE communication standards.
  • Proficient indata analysisandroot cause identificationusing Python, SQL, or JMP.
  • Stronganalytical thinking,problem-solving, anddebuggingcapabilities.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about continuous technical learning and innovation.
  • Proven ability to drivea technical teamwhile remaining hands-on in execution within a fast-paced production environment.
  • Excellentcross-functional collaborationandtechnical communicationskills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities effectively and consistently meet production and quality targets.
  • Strong capability to lead and mentor a technical team and deliver objectives autonomously.
