Job Description

SENIOR ENGINEERING MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced engineering leader to manage multiple engineering projects and support manufacturing operations in a semiconductor environment. This role will lead engineering teams, drive project execution, and ensure smooth manufacturing support from development stage to high-volume production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage engineering teams, including:
    • 3-4 Managers (direct reports)
    • 10-15 Engineers / Senior Engineers (indirect reports)
  • Oversee engineering projects from planning, development, build, and production until mass manufacturing.
  • Support manufacturing operations to achieve quality, productivity, cost, and delivery targets.
  • Work closely with Product, Operations, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for engineering and manufacturing issues.
  • Manage manpower planning, resource allocation, and departmental budgets.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve engineering and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Mentor and develop engineering team members to strengthen technical capabilities and leadership skills.
  • Ensure engineering activities comply with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of engineering experience in semiconductor or manufacturing industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a management or leadership role.
  • Strong experience in:
    • Wafer Fabrication
    • Semiconductor Packaging
    • SMT Processes
    • Front-End & Back-End Manufacturing
    • Automation & Industrialization
    • Mechanical Assembly / Box Build Processes
  • Experience leading engineering teams and managing multiple projects.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
