About the Role

The Challenge

This role leads the transformation of a large, complex organization's resiliency landscapespanning disaster recovery, continuity, cyber resilience, and regulatory compliance across multiple regions.

The Opportunity

You will shape the Groupwide target state for resiliency architecture, guide major programs, influence Csuite and Executive stakeholders, and drive adoption of modern resiliency practices across critical platforms and countries.

What You Will DoKey Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the Groupwide resiliency targetstate architecture and reference frameworks.
  • Publish, govern, and assure resiliency architecture patterns across availability, failover, backup/recovery, and cyber resilience.
  • Drive enterprisewide compliance with resiliency regulations, RTO/RPO objectives, and governance standards.
  • Lead modernization initiatives for disaster recovery and continuity capabilities across regions.
  • Partner with Csuite leaders to align on strategy, investment, and resiliency adoption.

Who We Are Looking ForPreferred Qualifications

  • 15+ years in IT/architecture, with 810+ years in resiliency, disaster recovery, or business continuity within financial services.
  • Certifications such as ITIL; cloud resiliency (Azure/AWS) strongly preferred.
  • Additional relevant certifications (CISSP, CCSK, TOGAF) are advantageous.
  • Proven experience leading largescale resiliency initiatives and targetstate design.
  • Strong executivelevel engagement skills with the ability to influence Board/ExCo stakeholders.

Skills and Attributes

  • Deep expertise in resiliency frameworks, orchestration tools, high availability, and backup/restore automation.
  • Strong understanding of hybrid and cloudnative resiliency models.
  • Familiarity with regional regulatory standards and audit requirements.
  • Leadership presence with the ability to influence across business, technology, and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence to represent the organisation in industry forums.
