Job Description

Job responsibilities:

  • System Integrity & Financial Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data across all integrated SAP modules and external systems. This includes supporting monthly costing runs, material ledger close activities, and reconciling discrepancies between SAP modules to safeguard data consistency and compliance.
  • Operational & Project Support: Manage month-end and year-end closing for costing and inventory.
  • Provide third-line support and collaborate with local business units, Shared Services, and Global IT.
  • Support hand-over of processes to the business owners to allow for an open door to put the accountability in the right place.
  • Provide improve ideas to Global template and assist with deployment of new functionalities
  • Go to person in case of business changes and system issues and restructuration of businesses, support with acquisition and divestment
  • Monitor, test, and validate system changes to ensure compliance with the IT standards
  • Participate in system upgrades, validation, and change management processes (e.g., using SolMan for testing and documentation).
  • Collaboration & Business Partnership: Collaborate closely with finance, supply chain, and IT teams to align system functionality with business requirements.
  • Business minded individual will be key in this role (especially in the area of Cost and management accounting) at ease with S/4 Hana environment
  • Act as a consultant to the business, analyzing requirements, designing, building, testing, and implementing system changes.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of processes and data integrity within the S/4HANA environment.
  • Work as part of a SAFe Agile team (ART), contributing to sprint planning and delivery.

Job requirements:

  • Extensive experience as a consultant in SAP FI/CO with a focus on financial data accuracy, compliance, and system configuration.
  • More than 5 years of professional experience in SAP FI/CO, specifically with Material Ledger (ML), Product Costing (CO-PC), Intercompany processes, and integration (Procurement, Demand to Pay, Production, EWM, Quality, and MP2C).
  • Experience with costing for service-related (instrument installation/maintenance) and software-related (subscriptions/selling) developments.
  • Basic familiarity with SD, MM, and PP, specifically regarding their touchpoints with FI.
  • Experience with system validation processes, including documentation and testing (preferably in Solution Manager (SolMan)).
  • Proven ability to work in a multicultural, global, and cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with advanced proficiency in English.
