Job Overview
The Senior Event Executive will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating a wide range of marketing events, including but not limited to seminars, tradeshows, conferences, regional client appreciation events, and essential internal corporate events. These events will target both prospective and existing Forex / CFD trading clients.
The ideal candidate will have years of hands-on event execution experience and be capable of independently managing the entire event lifecycle, from planning to on-site delivery and post-event review. This role plays a key part in enhancing brand visibility, driving lead generation, and strengthening client engagement.
The candidate is expected to demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, take full accountability for event outcomes, and be confident and articulate in presenting, hosting, or speaking at events when required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Event Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute annual and quarterly event plans and calendars aligned with overall business objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and select event opportunities (offline, online, and hybrid) to maximize reach and ROI
- Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and management teams to define event objectives, target audiences, and key messaging
2. End-to-End Event Execution
- Take full ownership of end-to-end event execution, including but not limited to:
- Venue sourcing and selection
- Vendor sourcing and negotiation
- Budget planning and cost control
- Registration and attendee management
- On-site coordination and execution
- Coordinate with internal teams (Content, Design, PR) and external partners to ensure high-quality event materials and professional on-site experiences
- Drive event promotion and registration through multiple channels, including EDM, social media, and strategic partnerships
- Ensure all events comply with relevant financial regulations, internal compliance requirements, and company policies
3. Forex / CFD Industry Expertise
- Leverage a solid understanding of the Forex and CFD markets to design professional, relevant, and engaging event themes and content
- Work closely with analysts and senior traders to develop high-quality presentations, seminars, or workshops
- Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices
4. Stakeholder & Client Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for speakers, sponsors, partners, and event attendees
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers during events
- Train, brief, and guide event staff or volunteers to ensure consistent and professional brand representation
5. Post-Event Analysis
- Conduct comprehensive post-event evaluations, including:
- Attendee feedback analysis
- Lead and prospect performance analysis
- ROI assessment
- Prepare detailed post-event reports and present key insights to management for continuous improvement
6. Budget Management
- Develop, manage, and monitor event budgets to ensure cost efficiency, transparency, and accurate financial tracking
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- 3+ years of hands-on event execution experience; experience in Forex / CFD or the financial services industry is a strong advantage
- Proven ability to independently plan and execute a variety of event formats (offline, online, and hybrid)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events under tight timelines
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
