Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager, Process Management & Quality

We are currently on the lookout for a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Process Management & Quality who will support the Head of Process Management.
The role will drive development and execution of process improvement, quality management, vendor and provider management, and change activities. The role is also an internal consultant who supports and drives initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, reduce OPEX, improves efficiencies, mitigate operational risks and ensuring the governance framework is adhered to.
What awaits you
Responsibilities include:
- Drive continuous customer process improvement activities (e.g. tools & methods) across the entity and for the strategic set-up and establishment of a local Process Management, Quality function.
- Support Customer experience management, and execution of digitization strategy.
- Support Quality Management activities, for analysis of operations data (e.g. customer feedback), for reporting and monitoring of operational KPIs (including group-wide defined KPIs) and informing process owners accordingly. Responsible for driving closure of performance gaps and to monitor operational performance.
- Drive system enhancements and projects derived from process improvement initiatives, for project portfolio management (PPM) and demand management processes.
- Support vendor management and reporting activities.
- Lead operational excellence initiatives by analysing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing process improvements.
- Design and deploy automation solutions using RPA tools, Microsoft Power Automate, and other low-code/no-code platforms.
- Configure and optimize SharePoint workflows and Microsoft 365 features to support business operations.
- Develop and maintain VBA scripts to automate tasks in Excel and other Office applications.
- Implement AI-driven solutions to enhance decision-making and streamline processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into automation solutions, and ensure adoption.
- Monitor and evaluate automation performance, ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Document processes and provide training to stakeholders on new workflows and automation tools.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by applying Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
What should you bring along
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 3 - 6 years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement and automation roles.
- Proficiency in VBA scripting for Excel and Office automation, strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 application (SharePoint, Power Automate, Outlook, Excel).
- Fluent in English and Malay.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. SAP knowledge is an added advantage.
- Proactive and solution-oriented team player who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Ability to negotiate and influence cross-functional collaboration.
- Hand-on experience with RPA tools (UiPath, BluePrism, or similar), data visualisation tools (Tableau, QuickSight or similar), and experience with automation and AI implementation, will be an added advantage.
