RESPONSIBILITY
Develop Warranty Related Policy and Documents
- Develop, implement and monitor warranty policy and strategy based on rules and regulations established for CKD and CBU vehicles.
- Warranty literature corrected and final proof-read.
- Prepare, update and distribute all necessary documentation such as warranty handbook, actual information to dealers regularly.
- Provide Dealer Support on Warranty Handling
- Identify warranty claim processing from dealer to VPCM & PHSAM.
- Warranty claims processing according to manufacturer's requirements for CKD and CBU vehicles.
- Process warranty claims according to standard processing time, 5 working days from dealer claim submission.
Warranty Parts Check and Parts Scrapping
- Implement and update of parts check & parts scrapping policy in the systems and documentations.
- Monitor of parts scrapping implementation at dealer level and Parts Return center.
- Prepare documentation of parts scrapping report at Importer level after each process / parts check activity.
Warranty Audit and Follow-Up
- Ensure warranty parts are properly documented, tagged, stored and eventually disposed accordingly.
- Take action to improve warranty process based on audit result and follow-up with dealer improvement plan.
- Perform Warranty Audits based on Volkswagen's warranty guidelines and standards listed in the Volkswagen AG warranty handbook.
Conduct Warranty Coaching
- Conduct coaching for new warranty officers on Volkswagen's warranty guidelines and standards.
- Conduct coaching regarding Implementation and Support of Warranty System.
- SAGA/2, KD3 and maintenance and support CKD and CBU vehicles.
- Provide support for Warranty coaching and Warranty Meetings.
- Warranty Statistic Analysis and Reporting.
- Prepare reports on warranty statistic based on KPI's parts and cost.
- Action to be taken based on report results.
- Create PCC-Goodwill.
- Create all needed warranty analysis.
Single Incident Cases Solution from the Point of Warranty
- Assist on single incident/product liability claims.
- Support Field campaign activities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Automotive technology knowledge or experience.
- Proactive, detailed oriented, result and target driven.
- Minimum 5 years experience in equivalent industry.
- Experience in VW & Audi (Warranty, Service Advisor or Technician).
- Able to communicate at all levels.
- Good command in written and spoken English.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, project management skills and basic legal is an added advantage.
- Proficient is Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
