Job description:
Job Summary
Procurement Senior Executive will be a member of CPU team and will work with Procurement Manager on task related to the daily Procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- To conduct regular reviews/execution of procurement strategies to optimize project timelines, cost efficiency, and overall value delivery.
- To establish and continuously enhance the cost data library for accurate benchmarking and cost estimation.
- Ensure procurement and authorization procedures are followed.
- Assist to resolve vendor issues pertaining to digital procurement (Ariba), payment processes & procurement system support.
- To communicate with stakeholder to understand business and technical needs for new change request in relate to procurement processes or procurement system enhancement.
- Source for quotation in Ariba system by reviewing specification, sourcing vendor, vendor selection and negotiation for the award.
- To provide award recommendation in vendor selection process.
- Continuous cost reduction initiative without compromising on the delivery system and quality.
- To prepare regular procurement report in timely manner.
- Any other adhoc duties that will be assigned from time to time by management.
Qualifications
- Degree holder or any other equivalent related qualification for procurement / Quantity Surveying
Skills & Abilities
- Proficient in Ariba system or other equivalent procurement system, including sourcing, contract management, supplier collaboration modules and P2P.
- Good organisation, negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skill.
- Performance driven, dynamic, result-orientated, team player with good interpersonal skill.
Expected Minimum Years of Experience
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience.
