Job Description

In this role, you will bring that purpose to life by enabling transparent, efficient and commercially sound procurement and contract administration across our property development projects. We are looking for a detail-oriented, results-driven professional who works collaboratively, takes ownership and continuously seeks better ways to deliver value through tender management, vendor evaluation and contract administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Periodically review the Company's procurement practices to ensure alignment with established policies, procedures and operational requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement and contract administration activities, including vendor pre-qualification, tender evaluation, clarification meetings and the review of contractual terms and conditions.
  • Oversee procurement and contract administration activities to ensure project schedules and budgets are achieved in accordance with established standards and procedures.
  • Evaluate the qualifications and capabilities of contractors and consultants to identify suitable vendors for project development and tender participation.
  • Coordinate pre-tender and tender activities, including vendor selection, review of tender documents, monitoring of tender timelines, tender evaluation and preparation of recommendations.
  • Prepare management papers for vendor appointments, tender approvals and other procurement-related decisions in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or any equivalent discipline.
  • Minimum four years of relevant experience, preferably within property development, construction or any related industry.
  • Sound knowledge of project costing, tender procurement and contract administration.
  • Strong analytical ability, commercial awareness and resourcefulness in resolving issues.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism and accountability.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Able to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
