We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our Equity Syndication department under Alliance Islamic Bank as a Senior Executive or Manager.
The Role
A successful candidate in this position will be accountable for the following:
- Handle Equity Capital Market activities encompassing the sourcing and execution of acceptable external underwriting and private placement opportunities, and coordinate between Equity Markets and Capital Market in the marketing and distribution of primary or secondary equity or equity-linked private placement assignments.
Job Responsibilities
- Organising and management of IPO investor roadshows.
- Investor due diligence (IDD), especially if there are large number of placees.
- The issuance of placement letters and follow up with placees on placement documents and the tracking of placement monies.
- The processing of placees details to be submitted to authorities within the regulated IPO timeline.
- The placement of IPO/placement proceeds with our Treasury and subsequent remittance of net IPO proceeds to the issuers and offerors.
Job Requirements
Skills
- Analytical skills for company and deal valuation
- Understanding of cash flow statements, profit & loss (P&L) statements, and accounting statements
- Proficiency in financial analysis and valuation techniques is preferred
Knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of equity markets and investment banking products
- Bursa Malaysia Securities Rules & Regulations
- SC Relevant Guidelines
- BNM Relevant Guidelines
Experience
- Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, CFA certified is advantageous
- Relevant experience of at least 1-2 years in Equity Capital Markets, investment banking, or related fields is preferred
- Preferably possess Dealers Representative License (Module 6 & 7 of SIDC examination)
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
