The Senior / Executive, Reporting is responsible for the timely preparation, analysis and presentation of accurate
management accounts and
performance reports for the various business units and the Group. This role provides crucial insights into operational performance, budgeting and variance analysis to support executive decision-making within Media Prima.
- Management Reporting & Analysis
- Report Generation: Prepare and distribute monthly/periodic Management Reports including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow statements tailored for non-finance management review.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis comparing actual performance against budget, forecast and prior periods, providing clear commentary on significant variances and performance drivers.
- KPI Tracking: Monitor and report on key financial and operational KPIs (e.g., revenue per platform, cost-to-serve, profitability by business unit).
- Budgeting & Forecasting Support
- Budget Support: Assist in the annual budget preparation process and quarterly financial forecasts, collaborating with department heads and business unit managers to gather and consolidate data.
- Cost Allocation: Support the appropriate allocation and tracking of overheads and shared service costs across different media platforms (TV, Digital, Print, etc.).
- System Integrity & Ad-Hoc Reporting
- Data Accuracy: Ensure the consistency and accuracy of data drawn from various financial and operational systems (e.g., ERP, budgeting software) for reporting purposes.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis (Senior Focus): Prepare specialized reports, feasibility studies and financial modeling as required by the Group CFO or Executive Management to support strategic initiatives or investment decisions.
- Process Efficiency
- Report Enhancement (Senior Focus): Review and streamline existing reporting templates and distribution methods to improve efficiency, timeliness and user-friendliness of reports.
