About Teleport

Role Overview

You'll manage end-to-end payroll across multiple entities, handling regular runs, adjustments and terminations. Ensure all payroll practices meet each country's statutory requirements and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll Support:
    • Maintain accurate and timely payroll input data (new hires, leavers, promotions, allowances)
    • Perform checks on HRIS changes to ensure payroll implications are accurate.
    • Run payroll simulation or pre-validation when required to ensure data accuracy.
    • Support payroll specialist with leave-related calculations.
    • Medical Benefits Administrations:
      • Administer employee benefits (enrolment, termination, changes)
      • Manage claim escalations and assist in renewal.
      • Maintain benefits SOPs and track utilisation reports for insights and audits.
    • Leave Administrations & Management:
      • Review and approve leave requests that require HR validation (exceptions, manual entries, backdated submissions).
      • Manage year end leave carry-forward calculations.
      • Ensure accurate setup of public holidays across the countries (validate that country public holiday calendars align with local labor law)
      • Coordinate changes immediately when the government announces special holidays.
    • Expense Claim Administration:
      • Audit employee expense claims for policy compliance
      • Review supporting documentation and resolve discrepancies
      • Respond to employee queries regarding expense claims and escalations
Key Competencies & Skills

  • Hands-on experience with payroll and HRIS systems (preferably Workday)
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets for reporting, and data analysis
  • High integrity and discretion in handling sensitive data
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and process compliance
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of payroll experience
