Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of talent acquisition activities, with a primary focus on high-volume retail hiring across assigned regions. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders to support manpower planning, talent sourcing, recruitment execution, and employer branding initiatives while ensuring recruitment targets are achieved within timeline and quality expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

a) Retail Recruitment

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activities for Retail Sales Operations across assigned regions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, offer management, and onboarding support.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and recruitment priorities.
  • Ensure timely closure of vacancies with quality candidates in line with business needs and hiring timelines.

b) Stakeholder Management & Team Support

  • Work closely with business leaders, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders to provide recruitment advisory and market insights.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to junior recruitment team members where required.
  • Support team initiatives and contribute towards achieving overall hiring targets.

c) Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development

  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through job portals, social media platforms, employee referrals, networking, career fairs, and campus engagement.
  • Explore innovative sourcing channels to support continuous talent availability for frontline hiring.
  • Monitor sourcing effectiveness and recommend improvements based on market trends.

d) Recruitment Tracking & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate recruitment trackers and candidate databases for all assigned hiring activities.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly recruitment reports, dashboards, and hiring analytics for management review.
  • Ensure timely updates of hiring progress, offer acceptance, onboarding status, and recruitment metrics.

e) Employer Branding

  • Support employer branding initiatives to enhance the organization's visibility and attractiveness in the talent market.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop recruitment campaigns, social media content, and hiring promotional materials.

f) Career Fairs & Talent Engagement

  • Represent the organization at career fairs, recruitment drives, campus engagements, and networking events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, training institutions, and external recruitment partners.

g) Compliance & Process Excellence

  • Ensure compliance with internal recruitment policies, procedures, documentation standards, and audit requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement of recruitment processes, workflows, and candidate experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in high-volume retail, FMCG, F&B, or service-related industries.
  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end frontline or mass hiring.
  • Experience in mentoring or guiding junior team members is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment platforms, sourcing strategies, and applicant tracking systems.
  • Good analytical, reporting, and recruitment data management skills.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple hiring priorities.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-driven with strong attention to detail.
