Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous, proactive, and people-oriented Senior HR Executive to join our HR team. This role involves overseeing all HR operational processes across the entire employee life cycle, from onboarding to exit, while managing core HR functions including recruitment, expatriate support, payroll, benefits, compliance, and reporting.

Working closely with the HR Manager, you will ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to local regulations and company policies. You will also contribute to process improvements, enhance the employee experience, and provide reliable HR support to our diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Life Cycle Management: Ensure a seamless employee journey from onboarding to exit. Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with SOX, local regulatory, and company policies.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage recruitment across all level. Partner with hiring managers on job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection. Support new hire onboarding, including documentation and induction coordination.
  • Expatriate & Immigration Support: Assist expatriate employees with relocation, visa applications, work passes, and benefits. Liaise with external work pass vendors for timely and compliant processing.
  • Payroll, Benefits & Leave: Coordinate with outsourced payroll providers for accurate and timely payroll and tax matters. Oversee leave administration using our system and liaise with external leave management providers. Administer employee insurance and assist with annual renewals.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Manage Human Resource Development Corporation (HRDC) grant and claim processes, ensuring compliance. Prepare and analyze HR reports for internal management purpose.
  • Process Improvement & HR Projects

Skills & Experience Required

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. 3-4 years of HR operations experience (or minimum 2 years with a single employer), managing high-volume tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical & Functional Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of HR systems (ATS, online leave management tools). Advantageous: Knowledge of Malaysia employment laws, payroll administration, compliance, expatriate administration, and work pass procedures.
  • Soft Skills & Attributes: Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal English communication. Ability to collaborate effectively in a small team and work independently. Patient, empathetic, and genuinely passionate about people support. Adaptable and resourceful problem-solver.
  • Preferred Background: Experience in an international or globally connected organization.
