We are looking for a Senior Executive, Import & Export to manage end-to-end import/export operations and ensure smooth, compliant, and timely delivery of goods to support retail operations.
This role plays a key part in ensuring shipment execution, regulatory compliance, and alignment with store replenishment and promotional timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day import & export operations including shipping schedules, documentation preparation, and customs clearance
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of shipping documentation (BL, invoice, packing list, COA, etc.)
- Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Demand Planning, Replenishment, and DC teams to align inbound shipments with business needs
- Track shipment status and proactively resolve delays or operational issues
- Liaise with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure smooth clearance and delivery
- Support compliance requirements with relevant authorities (MITI, Customs, MAQIS, SIRIM, FAMA, etc.)
- Maintain database for HS codes, duty rates, landed cost components, and regulatory updates
- Prepare operational and compliance reports on a timely basis
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within import/export processes

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field
- Minimum 5–7 years experience in import/export or logistics operations, preferably in retail or FMCG environment
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures, trade compliance, and shipping documentation
- Experience dealing with government regulatory bodies and freight forwarders
- Strong coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced operational environment
